The woman behind the name
Blanca — known to everyone as Blanquita — was a mother whose warmth touched everyone around her. When she passed away from cancer, her family chose to carry her name forward in the way she lived: caring for her community and refusing to let circumstance define what someone could become.
With a trusted family member living in Guatemala, the foundation has something rare: real local presence, real accountability, and a real story. Donors don't give to spreadsheets — they give to people. Blanquita was a person worth remembering this way.
